Gin Miller's Barbell Blast

Hi Collage,

I don't own a barbell.  Do you think I could use Mari Winsor's accelerator? Supposedly as I read elsewhere on the forum the Fully Assembled the bar (with extra weight) comes in at approx 4.5 lbs
http://www.collagevideo.com/forum/tm.aspx?m=75084&high=Mari+Winsor+Slimming+Pilates

I have Leslie's wrist weights - I could add two of them onto the accelerator.  I don't lift heavy - so that is not a concern.

Do you think this might work as a substitute?

Thank you and Happy Holidays!
Donna

I don't have barbell either.  I have been using my body bar 9 lbs or take the tubing out of a bar. You could also use a dowel.  I also don't lift heavy.  I don't know what the Mari bar is like.

Yes, that would be an innovative way to use your current equipment.  There may be one or two moves that the Accelorator may be a bit short for, but you should be able to use your handweights for those moves.
