Re:cardio with weights
In the early '90s when I started doing step, I used a 5lb weight. Granted I could do this and it allowed me to tone up/lose some weight but I was abt 33yrs old. But then I started to notice I was experiencing dizziness during the day. Shortly after, on the news, they did a segment on step classes w/weights at the gyms, stating this could raise blood/sugar levels to high. So I stopped doing that but increased the step height to 10''.
