Yep, that's me too.  my mom bit me a magnet that says "One more shopping day until tomorrow" : )

I tried to attach a link to show you the boots I got but the pat went all batty on me, twice, but they're called Sperry Topsider Women's Falcan Rainboot.

Why I thought I needed rain boots in Michigan in the winter is beyond me... But they were cute so whatever, right? ; )

These?  They are really cute! :)  I showed them to hubby and told him I needed them.
:)  I didn't see his eyes, but I'm pretty sure they were rolling! :p  How great would it be if my feet didn't get wet walking the dogs in the rain in my mesh-topped walking shoes!?  Are they comfy?

Bought some pull on boots from LL Bean.  Ordered yaktraks too.  That will make it easier to put on and take off.

Yes, those are the ones.  They came today, yay!!  I have to say yes to being comfy.  I wore them through the house, whilst showing them off to the boys who could frankly care less but have learned to humor me, and they feel great.  They're rain boots so I'd go with Smartwool socks or other liners with them and I'll probably use them for quick jaunts when I want to avoid slushy parking lots, etc., but they're not going to be functional for very cold weather.  Who cares, they're so cute : ). With the sale price and some other discount I didn't know about, I saved about $30 off the list price too.  Party bonus!

i've realized by the end of this winter i'll have close to 1000 miles on these snow boots!  why i don't look at them the same way i look at walking shoes i don't know.  i'd never put that many miles on walking or running shoes!  anyway, i'm having more problems with my foot again so figured i'd try new boots before breaking down and going to a foot specialist.  i found a good deal on sierratradingpost.com  but don't know anything about them.  has anyone ordered from them?

I actually got the snow sneakers from LL Bean in January and I love them...I keep trying to remember to go put out a review but haven't.  They are warm, dry and have great traction.

I had hoped once they arrived the snow and cold would stop but it didn't:-(

bkt, do you wear them for walking your dogs or more just out and about?

Everything I buy on some level is for the dogs...but I did get these for walks...we mostly walk at local parks (we have several).

My normal New Balance Hiking Shoes were not warm enough or water proof.  These are both.

I had a pair of Uggs and they were warm but didn't have enough support (for my feet) and wore out pretty quickly.

thanks, bkt.  i have foot problems, so support is always a big  consideration for me.  i  have always been happy with my columbia snow boots but have wondered if all the walking we do (about 70ish miles a month) would be better in the snow sneakers.

In the Fall I got some boots from LL Bean. When I tried to break them in I got a sore above my ankle. You can still see where it was. Looks almost like a bruise. I know they are good boots but I guess not for me.
