The "thing" with AWT....

The thing with AWT (for me) is deciding when to do it.  Since you can't really do it twice in a row, I frequently find myself in these Laura Vs. Laura debates.  Like, now, it's late but I really want to try {Calorie Killer 2}7608^ and Cathe's {B&G}7711^.  I know I don't have a loooong workout in me at this hour, but I WILL have tons of time tomorrow.  But I really want to do one now....  So, I have debate the wisdom of tonight vs. tomorrow with weights.  Is anyone else this indecisive?  Or is it just me?

Btw, I think tomorrow may win, but we'll see.

Laura - I think it's OK to do AWT 2 days in a row as long as your weights are light.  And I think you could do a Firm AWT one day and a Cathe with heavier weight the next day.  You need at least a day in between heavy weights for your muscles to rest and repair.

I think this question was asked in the current Collage catalogue. . .

Yes I just checked - They say you can do AWT everyday as long as the weights are light.

I use light weights almost everyday.  HTH

    Sweeet.

Too, with ME, there isn't any chance that I'll do weights everyday for a week.  I like too many non-weighted things.  But sometimes, I'm in the "mood" for it for a 2 or 3 days in a row.  Or all my newbies are AWT.

Yay....  This news will seriously diminish my decision time in the future.

Q, though.  What's considered "light."  Does that just mean the lightest weights you are currently working with?  Or anything in a certain range?

    Hmmmm...

    I guess everything is relative

For me light is 1 - 3# maybe some 5#.

    Heavy for me is 8 - 10 - 12 - 15#

All in all I'm a lightweight LOL (pun intended)

Could someone please tell me what 'AWT' stands for?  (and while you're at it, I'm also curious about 'HTH')

    Help a newbie out?

    Thanks!

Thanks so much, LRM!  Really appreciate the clarification, especially as AWT is something I want to get into - I'll be sure to keep an eye out for such threads in the future.
