Skinny Sculpt

I know that with strength training (involving heavy weights), there's a recovery period of 1 or 2 days; I was wondering if I can workout with Skinny Sculpt everyday since it involves light weights?

Thanks.

Although light weights, high reps are more of an endurance workout, I think you should be cautious in doing Ellen type workouts like Skinny Sculpt every day. You may be safer with Jari Love at higher frequency because of the single plane movements. Ellen's workouts are harder on the shoulder joint itself. HTH...D

I'm learning new stuff here.  What are single plane movements?

i may have misspoke with single plane movements; perhaps i should have said multiple joint movements. A single plane is straight forward, straight to the side or in rotation. Ellen's large movements with extended periods of holding the shoulders at 90 degrees (like a cross) are very hard on the shoulders....D

agreed, Ellen's workouts such as Skinny Sculpt used everyday would eventually give you shoulder problems ..

it is thought that light weights can be used every day but as E-Man says, Ellen uses pretty much one shoulder muscle which acutally eventually annoys the shoulder joint itself and leads to shoulder impingment ..

it makes me wonder how often you are supposed to use Ellen's workouts ??

I usually do Ellen workouts without weights... any thoughts on how much that changes the frequency of doing her workouts?  thanks!

Not absolutey sure. I only have one of Ellen's workouts right now.  I think if you are not using weights you could do it as often as you want.

I really appreciate all of your responses.  I may mix up Skinny Sculpt with her Slim Sculpt (which uses different ranges of motion) or Leslie Sansone's Walk Away the Pounds.  Thanks again for advice :-)!
