can you recommend all floor work toning at intermediate level ?

I have terrible plantar fasciitus.   Cardio, step and standing leg work aggravates it.  Can you recommend some DVD's that I can use while my foot heals?  Thank you.

I have the same problem, and would be interested in more suggestions. Everything seems to aggravate it.

I can walk outside because I'm wearing my Birkenstock sandals. I can also bike and do yoga.
I know that Jessica Smith has a you tube video for floor work. I'm not sure if it's intermediate, though.

Pilates will save you,  I promise!  It's fun, and very effective.   Try the 10 Minute Solution Rapid Results Pilates, or the Marie
Windsor Lower Body Pilates.   You might also like some of the
Classical Stretch videos,  as well as Carol Argo's Anti Aging
Workout", which includes an all-floor Pilates/Yoga workout.
I did this morning Jonathan Urlas' "Yogalates",  he has
2 workout videos, and you might like those,  too.   Best,  AK

Thanks for the suggestions, Alice Kathleen! The 10 Minute Solution looks good, and I think I will get it.

JessicaSmithtv on You Tube has a chair workout that is cardio, strength and fat burning.

She also has a Floor Barre workout for lower body toning.

I haven't tried either yet, but I do like her other You Tube workouts.

I just did Jessica's chair workout from her You Tube videos. I really liked it. I worked up a sweat and it got my heart rate up. Not as much as a high intensity video, but I was surprised at how much it worked my muscles. I think I will feel it in my legs tomorrow! I will use this one for toning even when my foot heals. It works some different muscles.

I would rate it intermediate, perhaps low intermediate. If you up the weights, that would make it more intense.

Thanks so much for the great ideas!  I will try some of these especially the 10 min pilates and Jessica Smith's workouts.

I have bad PF also.  It is so slow to heal....my healing has been stalled for about 6 months now.  Walking or standing more than 5-10mins without getting off the feet will trigger a flareup.

Pilates sounds like a great idea.  Floorwork gives me heartburn or I'd go that route.

I have Classical Stretch that Mary Alice mentioned.   It is standing, but non impact.   Some of the exercises are done standing on one leg which bothered my PF, and it might bother yours. I did a seated stretch whenever she did a one leg stretch.  I also just did a seated exercise every 5 mins instead even if there was no one legged stuff.

    The chair workout sounds interesting.

I've recently rediscovered the joys of bike riding.  Actually, it's a trike, so comfortable, and no irritation to the feet from it.

How about Ballet Beautiful Mary Helen Bowers?

There is bridgework, I don't know it that would aggravate your PF though.

You can now find all of Jessica youtube workouts on her website.  They are all organized under several heading so its easy to find what you want.  Not sure if there is a floor only option but it will cut down your search.

Just went to Jessica's website. She has pilates, chair,a floor barre  and some stretch tone workouts.
