Beginner weight for body bar?
All, I consider myself to be a high int/low adv exerciser and am wanting to get a body bar to do a few workouts like Kimberly Spreens Combat Surge and Mindy's All Systems Go, etc. What is a good weight to start off with? I was thinking maybe 8lbs? It is hard to imagine how I will feel after holding a moving a bar for 45-55 minutes. I know in kettle bell style workouts when I use one weight with both hands on it 8lbs is a good challenge. Maybe 6lbs is better for a body bar? Suggestions?
