Going out of Business...Say it ain't so!

What a surprise to see on your main page that you are going out of business.  My goodness!  To say you will be missed is an understatement.  Don't know when the final date is as it didn't say but THANK YOU!! for all your fine service, wonderful selection of DVD's and the forum.  It was from a catalog from Collage quite a few years ago that made a huge difference in my life with thinking about exercise in a different way.  Thank You Collage!  You will be missed!

I'm so sorry to hear this. It was your catalog and website that got me started on workout dvd's, other than Jillian from Walmart. I hope everyone who works at Collage finds other employment soon. I will really miss the forum!

I am heartbroken.  Your service was second to none.
I don't order fitness DVDs from amazon or any of the others.
Been with you since the beginning.  Your service is the best!

I'm so sad to see you go away! You will definitely be missed. I was honored to be featured as a Success Story in a newsletter, and I've purchased many a workout from you. I spent hours pouring over your catalogs, and counted on you for reliable information when considering whether or not a workout was for me!

Best wishes to all of you. And thanks for being a part of my life!

As a success story I'll be sad to see this site go! I want to thank you for the reviews and services as well as donating to a cause near and dear to my heart (Success Story donation).

Good luck to all that work and collage!

I think this is just a sign of the times with changing technology and more and more competition. Mom and Pop shops just can't compete against big retailers. Couple that with digital and DVDs in and of itself will probably become a thing a past as well.

    Thanks again!

I'm so sorry to see you guys go! You've been a part of my life for 30 years... can it be that long? Whenever my workouts get stale, I count on you to show me what's new, what's great. And I always looks for the "Staff favorites" icon, because that really means something to me. Oh shoot! Well, thank you -- each and every one. You will be missed!

Here's a link to a thread about Collage going out of business over at VF. It's nice to know that a lot of people are sad over this and to read about their memories. One thing that a few people mentioned that I had forgot about is all the great reviews that people post here--I'll really miss those!

I am SO SORRY to see this.  I have been using Collage for years & really don't buy exercise DVDs (formerly VHS) from anyone else.  I loved the reviews and ratings - the variety - you could check out all kinds of stuff here - and the clips.  You will be SO missed.  You were dependable and affordable.  And I loved reading the success stories.

    Sorry to see you go

    A loyal customer - Diane

I will miss the clips and catalogs.  Thank you, Collage, for providing those.  Most of all, though, I will miss the forum and all the support and friends around the world it has provided.

I began purchasing from Collage back in the 1980s. (Have not bought much lately because by now I have many hundreds of videos and DVDs and I'm not that interested in acquiring a lot of new stuff. Old videos still rock!) But Collage and their wonderful, exciting catalogs and excellent customer service have been a part of my life for many, many years.

I consider Collage a huge part of home fitness history and I'm *very* sorry to see you go. All the best to your fine staff and thanks for all you've brought to us!!!

thanks for posting the vf link, sue.  it has been easy to forget there's a great big world outside our wonderful forum!  i know people outside of this world won't understand, but my stomach feels like an empty pit and i am just so sad about our loss.  it hit me last night but it's sinking in today.  i am on this website no less than ten times a day!!  most days the only other website i am on (outside of work) is weather.com!!  just so sad.  i've been on the forum since a few years before they started the new format.  feeling kinda lost....
