Sue, I'm like you: my hands are shaking a little. I'm in shock. Collage, what happened??? I'm going to miss this site a lot. I check in several times a day, browse for hours and greatly appreciate all the friends I've made here on the forum. There will be a big, big hole in my cyber-world and fitness life without Collage.

I am devastated.  I felt understood on this website.  These were my people!  No one else in my life gets it, except you guys.  Saundra, how about if we hang out out at your website?  Can you set up a forum there?  And I LOVE this company.  Such good service.  A wonderful way to browse through workouts.  I've talked about this website to so many people.  They usually just gave me blank stares.  But I couldn't hide my enthusiasm.  Visiting this website is a huge part of my daily routine.  This is horrible.  Collage, I only buy workouts from you.  I have been a very loyal customer.  I started with you seven years ago, and I now have close to 100 DVDs, but I always thought there was room for more.  I'll have to take a very close look at my wishlist and make some final purchases.  What a BUMMER!  Boo.  Thank you for everything, especially for getting me in the best shape of my life.  At 47 that's saying a lot!

After having purchased DVDs from CV for 30 years, I am so upset to hear they are going out of business. I trusted their opinions and loved their website. Where do I go now?

Dear Collage,

I can't tell you how much it saddens me that you have decided to go out of business.  I first discovered you from an article in a fitness magazine, I don't even know how long ago.  I sure hope you have a change of heart and figure out a way to reinvent yourself, perhaps with streaming media, monthly memberships, apps for smartphones, etc.  Please, PLEASE, consider other options.   You are an INSTITUTION in the home fitness world and you will be sorely missed.  I LOVE your website and I hope you are able to find a new and innovative way to compete.

Wishing you continued success,

Helen Kenny

I haven't posted here in years but I just want to say that I will miss Collage Video.  I usually purchase a few DVD's a year.  The video clips and reviews were tremendously helpful to me.  I am very sad to see you go.  :(

Wow, just so incredibly saddend to hear this news!  I agree with everyone else who posted so eloquently.  I have been with this company since the VHS days!  I only bought from Collage. I relied on their expertise, and the clips were invaluable. I am devastated as well. A very sad day; I feel for the people losing their jobs. Where do we go from here?

I've been with you guys since the VHS days.  I feel like I'm losing a friend.  I will miss you.  Thanks for all you've done for me over the years.

Seems like the end of an era.  I guess that explains what's been going on with the "coming soon" page.  I'll miss CV as I've really enjoyed the website for years. I'll probably get a lot more done at work since I won't be checking the site several times a day and will probably save a lot of money since I probably won't buy many workouts without being able to view a clip.

Cat Woman, I hear you. Checking in on the forum during my lunch breaks if I had the time was a nice way to clear my mind briefly. I think the only good thing about having messed up my ankle so badly this past weekend is that I'm home (which isn't good in and of itself, cuz we have a new student and just lost one assistant from our classroom) and can keep up with the new posts here...but then again, that only makes me feel more helpless!

Guess I'll have to take more time to use the video's I've bought instead of checking the site for new ones.

Like so many others I am devasted.  I too would spend hours just reviewing all the videos deciding which one I should buy next.  You will be greatly missed

I agree with all of the above sentiments. I made my first purchases here back in the late 1980's.  Even when I could find workouts cheaper, I still purchased from Collage. Your customer service was excellent.

Can you please explore the possibility of at least keeping the forum open and going?  If this is not possible can you give us loyal customers a few days notice before you completely shut down. Just saying "when we exhaust our inventory" is pretty vague. At the rate folks are buying that could be in a few days.

Best wishes to the collage family and thank you for many years of wonderful service.

I've been a loyal customer for years. I have 100s of DVDs from this cite. I come here almost daily to read reviews to help me decide which workout to do and to buy new DVDs. I will miss that. My hope is that searching the internet will pop up the reviews that have been posted here. Thank you to everyone who posted detailed reviews. Bye Collage! :-(

Ahh this came as a complete shock! This is the only forum I've ever joined and I've learned so much from all of you. I hate change especially from something good. I think Vf is way too big and overwelming. I know I don't do the check in but I watch and read everyday. I feel depressed

I can't say anything that hasn't already been said. I was shocked to get the going out of business e-mail. Collage is the only site that I purchase exercise DVDs from. They are the best. Although I haven't been active on the forum lately, I will miss the interaction. I feel like I've gotten to know a few people even though I have never actually met any of you. Good luck those of you at Collage. And if anyone knows of another good site to get a variety of exercise DVDs from, please post the information for the rest of us.

With nearly no products left, will gift certificates be refunded?  Anybody have their certificates validated without their order processing, and then the certificates considered used?
