Welcome to forum Brinah!  I like to mix it up - dumbbells, bands, pilates, and some beginner yoga.  You have to find something you like and stick with it.  Definitely a good idea to do some workouts with weights.

    Yes, Welcome Brinah.

I love working out with weights, but it really is good to mix up your routines so your body doesn't get used to one thing.  I agree with Donna D, if your not enjoying it, you won't stick with it.

hi Brinah, all three are  good ways for toning especially because some pilates and yoga workouts include weights or bands for the upper body. I agree that doing something that you enyoy the most is the best way to keep you motivitated and in shape but mixing it up is a good idea because that way you get the best of all three toning criterias( criterias is that the right word?)Plus trying a little bit of everything will help you find and decide what you like the most.
