firm weights

Hello all. I haven't been on here in a while. Here's my question. I purchased the firm weights(in pink case) years ago. I recently started adding weights to my firm workouts and other workouts. I realized that 2 weights are stuck together. They are the 1lb weight (with the hole all the way thru) and the 1lb weight (with hole half way thru). These go onto the end of the handheld piece. I want to know how do I go about getting a replacement for these 2 weights? I ordered the pkg that has the {Core Solutions}7994^ and the {Tight Buns and Killer Legs}7984^ dvd workouts, but the pieces that came with those are 1.5lbs.  I really want the 1lb pieces for now. I'm open for suggestions.    Thanks you Hondahoney007

Perhaps some WD40 Spray can get them to loosen enough so you can pull them apart?

Back when we had first begun offering the sets, a few customers came back with a similar problem - that two weights were connected/fused together.  One customer even purchased and had the set shipped to a military base where a few tough Marines weren't ever able to unpry them.  That being said, the two weights being connected together had happened during the manufacturing of this set and were packed into the weight case this way in error.  If you purchased this set from us, let us know and we would be able to send you two of the weights that you need for no charge as well as an envelope for you to send the connected weights back to us.

I could've written this post myself!  I originally ordered when it first came out and only just started wanting to use the system and found exactly the same thing with the weights fused together.  One set I managed to loosen myself but the other two sets that were frozen I had to put WD40 on, leave overnight and even then I couldn't loosen them but - get this - when my partner came home he did it like it was nothing.  He's still laughing at me now! :-)  I thought of contacting Collage but as I live in the UK I thought this was too much of a stretch - I should've known better!  Well done Collage for offering a solution :-)

Hope you enjoy using your weights, either when you get them loosend or when you get your replacements :0)

Thanks for the replies. Collage Moderator I believe I got the set from here (it was so long ago).  What do I need to do to get a replacement from you guys and send the defects back? Thank you in advance.

p.s. Charmaine your story is funny. You should've told your partner that you loosened it  a little that is why he got it apart so easily...lol.

You could contact us by phone or email - our consultants would be able to send out the replacement weights and postage-paid envelope for the defective fused weight as soon as possible.

Hondahoney007, I was in too much shock that he did it without so much as batting an eyelid to think of anything to say except a very stunned "thanks" - not like me at all! When it comes up again (as it does pretty much every time I get them out!) I will definitely say that to him :-)
