I really want all the Cathe videos that I've seen mentioned.  My wish list so far...Gym Style, {S & H}7652^, {4DS}7884^, and the {core}7485^ video.  I think I wouldn't even mind having Cathe's stretch video.   Eventually maybe I'll have them all.  Hmmmmm.  What next?

Hi there Fit40-- The GS workouts work specific parts of your body for more time, and therefore, one might find them more intense. The {Pyramid}7431^ workout is really an upper/lower body split, while the GS workouts are a 3 day split- 2 upper, 1 lower... so perhaps one would see the GS as more challenging. I still think though, that any of Cathe's workouts, if you go heavy enough, are advanced workouts (the exception is Push/Pull, which only offers one set of each exercise and there a couple of other workouts, incl a Circuit workout that is more intermediate..... but even with Push/Pull there is an option to divide the workout into splits and repeat the exercises to increase the number of sets which makes it much harder).

Yes, I am more than familiar with Jari and have all of her workouts except the dance one. I like her for a totally different kind of weight workout experience, and have used her dvds in rotations with lots of success.

I prefer Cathe to Jari, but they're different and both of them deliver good workouts and results!!! :)

{Bikini BC}5786^, {Muscle Definition}5766^, Stephanie V's {Body Shaper}5736^, and {Body MAx 2}7691^ (not my favorite) but a good cardio/leg/arm workout.  Many people love this one.

Thx W.O.W.  and Cam.  My wish list keeps getting bigger.  Guess I'm gonna dig out one of my old Jari videos today for variety but it seems I have left them on the shelf because she just doesnt appeal to me the way Cathe does.

I just looked at one of Jari's clips and now I remember what I sort of find annoying.  It's all the counting, counting, counting.  Maybe Jarie needs a C.D.  (that is her name isn't it?-Cathe's counter)  Cathe also has a sense of humor that I love. O.k. I'm getting in the zone now.  I will not be bothered by the counting.  I will not be bothered by the counting.  I WILL GET A GREAT WORKOUT.  Hope you guys have a great night.

To Jari I do humbly apologize.  I did {Ripped 1000}7702^ and whewww I'm sweating my booty off. I was too delirious to be doing my own counting.  I must say that was a tough workout.

Cathe's {Slo Mo}7889^ is good but I don't do the forward 10 degree"tilt" as she recommends because it hurts my lower back.  I second {Muscle Max}7445^ as a good total body weight workout.  Tracy Staehle's {Parts Series}7930^ is very good and fun but it's a bit lacking in the shoulder area.  I also like Jari but she has a bit of a dread factor so I don't do her dvds as much. That being said, if you can handle alot or reps, Extremely Ripped & Chiseled with leave you with DOMS big time if you use the correct weight. This workout has a particulary good/challenging triceps and shoulders section.

Thx Denise,  I happen to have Cathe's {Muscle Max}7445^.  I think I'll do that one today.  I don't have ER&C.  I really do need some good arm workouts.  I'm thinking I'll probably get Cathe's Gym Style Series for that though one downfall is I'd probably need to get both of the upper body series. I guess that is one thing that is nice about p90x and Chalene Extreme.  They're  complete programs.  You don't have to guess at whether your collection is well rounded enough and the most effective combination.

I like Jari better than Cathe so far from my limited dvds. I also like Stephanie V. How about Amy Bento? Her {All Pump}7791^ and {Slo Mo}7889^ are good toning work outs.

w.o.w. - does Cathe do less reps per exercise in the Slow & Heavy?
